The Auto 66 Club are looking forward to a busy 2012 at Oliver’s Mount as Entries arrive at the Club’s Offices situated in the heart of the picturesque North Yorkshire venue for the four scheduled road races; April’s Ian Watson Spring Cup, June’s Barry Sheene Road Race Festival, the Cock o’the North in July and culminating in the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Races in September.

With the success of last year’s Gold Cup and entries received to date living up to the 2011 levels the organisers are looking forward to the first road race of the season on Sunday 15th April, the Ian Watson Spring Cup.

Spring Cup Winner Returns to Defend his Title

2011 feature race winner, Ryan Farquhar returns to hopefully defend his title, although he will be up against his fellow Ulstermen, Michael and William Dunlop and ‘Manxie’ Chris Palmer, so it’s unlikely to be a 'stroll over the line', no matter who takes the chequered flag !

Dunlop Debut's Sidecar

Sidecar races at Oliver’s Mount always produce close and exciting action around the 2.43 mile circuit and the opening races of the 2012 season will be no exception - especially with Michael Dunlop making his much awaited debut in the three-wheeler class !

Also returning after a sabbatical away from racing is Manxman Dave Molyneux who so far has 17 race victories at ‘The Mount’ to his credit.
