RE: Proof Read a NEW BOOK
Thank you for your appraisal and your kind words Concerning my CDBOOK entitled "65 YEARS A TTFAN"
I did try to have it published but was told I wasn't a TT rider and that Motorcycle racing is a minority sport.
This got me quite angry (about the sport factor) so I felt that I had to "get it out" in one format or another and chose what I knew best, something which I could DO MYSELF, from the writing to the laying down, from the designs to the production....The main expenses are the DVD cases, The labels that I designed and printed myself, the blank CDs, the CD labels and the postage and packing. Printer ink is expensive !!!
It was a great exercise considering I'm 72 and the fact that I am getting quite a few orders proves I have accomplished something during my retirement. To some of the youngsters it may seem a little "crude" but it is in effect published and each "CDBOOK" I run off is going to people who consider our beloved sport a majority one. The orders are coming from round the world !!
Add to this book, I have a CD of 3D pictures (which comes with 3D specs), My TT Game on CD, Old photos on CD, and a TT - the Musical CD
plus a proper TT Race Game in Board Game concept.
I dreaded retirement but I am now enjoying EVERY DAY, I don't get into mischief, I don't doze on the sofa all the time. I spend time in the loft going through all my Vast Collection and my books and re-living 65 glorious years....
I am hoping to bring out a Kindle version of my complete book (The first one out is Part One with more to come) when I have cracked that way of producing it (I'm working on that with the help of Amazon)
I think I have done something unique, something no one else has tried..........and it is my baby !!
They will be on sale at Bill Snellings at Laxey during the TT.......
Please buy One !!
In 2015 I celebrate 68 years as a devoted TTFan
Bookingfor 2016 !!
