Michael Dunlop will contest the three Superbike races in the 2013 Ulster Grand Prix aboard his Honda TT Legends CBR1000RR Fireblade. ‘The world’s fastest road race’ is a firm favourite of Dunlop, who has racked up six wins around the 7.4 mile Dundrod circuit.

The Ulster GP will take place from 12-17 August 2013, the same week as the Oschersleben 8-hour Endurance World Championship race. While Dunlop represents the team in Northern Ireland, the Honda TT Legends EWC team, which includes John McGuinness, Michael Rutter and Simon Andrews, will compete in Germany.

We’re pleased to confirm that Michael Dunlop will compete for the Honda TT Legends in the Superbike class at Ulster. The event clashes with the Oschersleben 8-hour race, which means we’re unable to be there with our full road racing line-up, however we know that Michael will do a great job in representing the TT Legends. He’s had success at the Ulster GP in the past with six wins under his belt, so we wish him the best of luck and we’ll be cheering him on from Germany.

I’m looking forward to racing at the Ulster on the Honda TT Legends superbike. We’ve done a lot of work on the bike during the NW200 and the TT and we’re in a good position now. It rode lovely at the TT and we obviously brought home a win there so it would be good to do the same at the Ulster. Thanks to Honda for making it happen.
