Support grows for Simon Andrews TT lap of honour
[Image: simonandrewsheadshot1.jpg]

Up to fifteen hundred bikers are expected to join a lap of honour around the TT course in memory of road racer Simon Andrews on Sunday.

The 29-year old lost his life during the North West 200 earlier this month and was due to compete in his fourth TT this year.

Tributes to Simon have been paid by fans around the world on road racing websites, and a Facebook page has been set up in his name to promote the event, on Mad Sunday afternoon from 2.30pm.

The lap of honour has the support of police, marshals and TT organisers.

Simon's father Stuart Andrews says his son died doing what he loved most - with the support of his family:

Bikers are asked to gather in pit lane in front of the Grandstand at 2.30 on Sunday, 1 June.

Simon's funeral will be held in Worcester cathedral on 17 June at 3pm.
