Good luck to them finding accommodation...
Just heard about this on the radio, its the "CONIFA 2015 European football championship" being held on the island starting on June 13th 2015.
I think there's going to be some quick turnarounds on hotel rooms!
Isn't the Senior scheduled for the 12th? (if it's not, I've cocked up!)

It is indeed on the 12th.  This is a very low level championship so I wouldn't expect a ton of visiting spectators but the teams may struggle a bit.

The dates on the home page back you up sinisterdexter:
Practice Week: May 30 - June 05 Race Week: June 06 - June 12

As you say, it will be a problem for teams as they will want come over at least the day before the competition starts.

Methinks someone forgot about TT when they put in the bid to host. It doesn't surprise me one iota. It happens here every time Norwich play at home yet people still expect to drive past the stadium on matchdays at final whistle, even though the roads get closed (with advance warning notices too) and have done for several years.
Everything will be alright in the end. And if it's not alright, it's not yet the end.

So errr, the message you're trying to get across there is that no one should panic?

After the debarcle of the closing of the other forum, nothing suprises me anymore. It wont have anything to do with the MotorSport dept, but someone in the DED will be aware of this.
