RE: Marshals on this Forum?
Been marshalling for a few years now  TT & MGP and really enjoyed the whole experience, started at Sky Hill K tree area but have moved around a fair bit depending on where theres a shortage,Laurel bank, Pumphouse, 16th milestone and this year was 13th milestone westwood. I've recruited a couple of mates and my brother and nephew along with his partner and my daughter was along for the Manx they all help out when they can. I've been spannering at the Classic TT with the lads at Davies Motorsport which has been an absolute experience but still manage to get in a couple of evenings marshalling during practice. Roll on next year Icon_biggrin Icon_biggrin Icon_biggrin

Braddan, were you there the day Cap Davies crashed the Padgetts YZR500 Yamaha, I collected the bike after the practice.

Morning Stubottle, with an abundance of cold tinnies available down under, it's a real shame that I've never touched alcohol in my life.  Never mind, I'll can always rely on our Ron to put the kettle on if I am ever able to get back to the rock.  I do miss the Marshal way of life but being 'home' again goes a long way to make up for hanging the Orange tabbard up.

RE: Marshals on this Forum?
I've marshalled at the MGP for the last two years. Usually start the week at Union Mills but then move around - been at the Bungalow, Ballaugh, Bradden Oak, Quarry Bends, the Creg, the 32nd and a couple of others. My wife has also joined in, but only for practice. Will be back for only a couple of days next August so will be back at Union Mills - can't wait!

Evening all!

Sector 4 - Black Dub. And a few points around it as well. Not as regular as I would like these days, but there is not doubt that is the best thing I ever did. Wonderful friends, amazing spectacle and pick up some very useful skills. I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of it.

And thanks to Malcolm for hosting us all!
