Going over with the wife from Saturday until Friday. We've booked a holiday flat in Port Erin.If the weather's as good as the last couple of years,I won't be complaining. We've been doing the coastal walk in stages for the last few years,so the plan is to finish the rest of it.Only about 25 miles to do!!

I would think it's about 20 miles. The full walk distance from Castletown to Ramsey is 25 miles.

Couldn't make our usual Sunday to Friday on the bike due to other holiday commitments but flying in on the 4:15pm from Liverpool on Wednesday for a couple of nights - with no delays and a fair wind should be track side for the start of racing.

There are good viewing places all round the course.Personally,I like Church Bends and sitting on the bank on the bit between Ballanorris and Ballabeg hairpin.I believe Iron Gate is very good as well, but haven't watched from there yet.I'll be having a look this year.

Setting off for Liverpool in just over an hour for the 11.15 sailing. We're on the same coast and it's windy and raining here with the sound of thunder in the distance. It looks like it might not be the best crossing ever.
