The motorcyclist who died in a road traffic collision on the Mountain Road has been named by police.

60-year-old Charles Hughes from Warrington, collided with the roadside banking near the Les Graham Memorial on the Mountain road, whilst riding his bike on Sunday.

Mr Hughes was taken to Nobles Hospital, where unfortunately he passed away.

There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.

TT website extend their sincerest condolences to family and friends at this very sad time.
