There will be a delay to today’s road closure for the first TT race of the year.

A further announcement will be made at 11am but roads will not begin to close until noon at the earliest.

Just on the news that there have been two incidents on the mountain AND a chopper has come down. Not good.

Hoping that pilot is ok, Private helicopter down at the 33rd in the valley apparently, that will take some recovering, the closest other road is the dead end road from Baldwin in the bottom of valley

The initial post in this thread may well be somewhat premature and I would suggest that we all wait for the 11 o'clock announcement rather than just state without any official confirmation that the racing is off.

I myself receive information on what is happening and I post this within the appropriate post(s), in the TT2015 section - TT2015

Thanks for the current updates Malcolm. I think I'll just get ready and go to bed. Very disappointing for all concerned what with weather, delays and other issues.

No hospital beds, air-med helicopter probably can't fly, too much wind, rain, so many factors affecting the running of TT that it almost appears in self destruct mode.

Premature, but true.
With hindsight it served no purpose as no one would take any notice unless it was announced official which it could have been done 30 minutes before I posted.
My bad. It won't happen again.
