they don't hang around do they?
It always used to depress me that from midnight on senior race day it was as though the TT had never happened. 

It used to be even more depressing prior to the TT's 're-launch' in recent times.

In the 1990's Senior race day was a really sad sight, a half empty paddock, awnings down, remaining trucks turned around to face the gate with crews working out of the backs of the trucks and everything loaded up except the senior bike and a few bits and pieces.

It was a case of would the last one home in the senior please close the gates, a real anti-climax, at least now they keep the paddock pretty much intact until the end of the event.

Stop it now, enough already, i'm just back unpacking with a lovely tan in the p'ing rain ..
