I'll give you, all, time to Wednesday evening to tell where on the island the first two pictures were shot! Then I tell.

I look forward to finding out , but I so do hope someone comes up with the answers , just to show that we don't all just go round and round the hallowed 37.75 mile TT Mountain Circuit as enjoyable as that can be, if it is ever open , but do take in the Beautiful Mona's Isle and as many of its hidden charms as we can find , and show to any one that has not yet been how rich an Island some 35 miles long and 13 miles wide can be , Oh what memories that fairy dust has embedded in my mind's eye

It is in deed SILJA and the old water driven roundabout was still working well , come to think of it I wonder how old it actually is , I have no doubt there would have been a sign there somewhere telling me but if there was and if I did read it I cant remember , a pleasant enough little walk and place to have a cup of tea ,

yes I agree I think your right Hammerhead , and like you Andy I couldn't place it , just shows how things can look different from different angles and how when you pass something your eyes all ways go to the same things and I have to admit when passing there I am having a look at the thatched cottages , so one to go where is the woodland walk ??

this one had me thinking so had a look on the web and it says that the wheel  dates back to about 1890 it says and is the only water driven one still in use in the British Isles and europe the original horses were replaced in 1980 and the water wheel came from the old mines at Foxdale
