No more Free BT Sport.
As a BT Broadband user I've had the advantage lately of watching Moto GP live on BT Sport for free, but as from tomorrow ( 1st August )  they have decided to charge £5 a month. This is because they are going to show Champions League Football which they think we will all want to watch Mad2! Well they know what they can do as far as I'm concerned Gtf1.
Grey-haired riders don't get that way from pure luck.

I, ve been with BT for years, I was furious with this latest con. Moto Gp was the only thing I watched on BT sport, I'm blowed if I'm going to pay for over paid  football players. It's free to watch on Monday's so that will do fine.

Me too best bit is they thought that they were doing me a favor when I rang to complain about it, £5 month for something I don't want.
I will be looking at SKY next time contract is up even if I can't watch MOTO GP!

I also cancelled when told of new pricing, I just swing the dish to Astra 1 and tune to Eurosport in Germany. They broadcast most of the practices and races live.( makes more sense in German than Charlie Cox ever did). Dogsbody

Swing the dish sounds like a good wheeze.

I also sacked off BT when I got a letter in the post to say how many UEFA whatever football matches they were going to show. I only watched MotoGP.
Received a nice bonus of a £25 charge for cancelling my contract, never even entered a contract! Aaaahrrrghhh! Have you ever tried to contact them? Reckon it would be easier to ring Vlad Putin...

I think it was a ploy right from the start just to get people to swap providers you can't trust anybody these days👎

RE: No more Free BT Sport.
Too much of a good thing?. I liked Eurosport format with Moto GP, Friday practice, qualifying condensed into shows 2hrs long, then the races on Sunday. On BT sport I find myself trying to watch every Moto GP session. Really I spend enough time infront of the TV as it is watching bikes and not getting enough done in the garage on the bike etc. So not completely about £5 a month, I think going forward il be better off just watching the races on ITV4 on a Monday.

Unless Jonathan Rea goes Moto GP 😉.

Read the smallprint. If you go online and renew your BT broadband contract, you'll get BT Sport for free again.
