Re: MGP Entries - 2004
Larry, there's quite a few people whom Ive had the misfortune to be associated with who fall into this category, including some members of the Forgotten Racing Club, and certain race officials, most of whom have been notified of this fact and so are fully aware of it!!!!

Re: MGP Entries - 2004
For those of you who may not have read the ACU Handbook, on page 2, it makes this statement.

The ACU Mission

1. To pursue the interests of motorcycling while protecting and promoting the needs of members.

2. To facilitate British Motorcycle Sport and Leisure in the most accomodating, de-regulated and user led manner possible.

3. To make British Motorcycle Sport and Leisure happen.

Does anyone consider that these proposals are going to achieve this aim?

Oh, and by the way, I can remember a time when you didnt need a licence to do club racing or ride at a practice day!!!!!!

One very Easy way out of all this messing about with the MGP and The TT is, Its about time We had a Manx Motorcycle Association affiliated to the FIM direct, Then things might get a bit better for the Sport on the Island. All the best to You all for 2004 Season.......Irish Ago Racing.

And, of course, the Isle of Man is NOT part of the United Kingdom, just part of the British Isles, so they dont need to have anything to do with the ACU.

Re: MGP Entries - 2004
This is great idea when you consider how fericely independant the IOM is in all other matters why on earth do the powers that be have anything at all to do with the ACU. Why is there not a MCU directly affialiated to the FIM.
Cut out the middle man as they say.
A ever sorry for the rubbish spelling
