Ultralightweight TT?
With Dorna announcing a Supersport 300 class at WSB for next year (confusingly to include the Honda CBR500 & KTM RC390) may be some thought could be given to running these things along with Moto 3 machines at the TT & branding it as the Ultra Lightweight?

What do we think?

RE: Ultralightweight TT?
All for that, they already run a "300" class in America for the likes of Yamaha R3's etc.
It would just break up the monotony of big bike races i.e. 600's & 1000's, it would be as close as we can possibly get to the likes of Joey hopping off a Superbike and then going out and winning on a 125 so bring it on I say.

RE: Ultralightweight TT?
I think the 300 class is great idea by WSB & should be embraced at the TT & MGP.

A quick scam of the rules show that the larger capacity bikes have a lower rev limit & higher minimum weight in an effort to make the machines as equal as possible. Looks like a good, relatively inexpensive class. Given also it is a feeder class, it also give physically larger riders the choice of a physically larger machine for better aerodynamics.

I suppose the big question, if this is to happen at the TT, is which class should it replace: Superstock 1000, Superbike, Supersport Race 2 or Supertwins?

There may be an option to run two classes in the same race, Personally I do not like split classes, (but that might just be me).

Totally agree, said it before TT Zero needs to be binned.

I will forward this suggestion to the powers that be and will probably get the same response as the last one I sent in regarding the start number fiasco, NO RESPONSE!!!!

Second 600 race could/should go.
TT Zero is embarrassing. But I reckon it'll keep going while Mugen are still interested.
'Course I don't know what that b@stard shark's gonna do with it, might eat it I suppose. Seen one eat a rockin' chair one time.
