WK Bikes CFMOTO Factory Team have confirmed Gary Johnson will ride for them again at the 2017 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy in the Bennetts Lightweight TT Race.

This rider-team combination is an ongoing success with Gary and the team narrowly missing a podium finish by just 2 seconds in 2016.

The hard-working family run factory team have continued to gather fans worldwide for their eye-catching zebra design TT bike. The WK650 bike is manufacturer by CFMOTO, whose motorcycles and quads are sold worldwide – the ambitious Chinese manufacturer produces quality road legal bikes at affordable prices and together with the racing history of their UK importer WK Bikes and Quadzilla, the team’s experience and enthusiasm are firmly placed at the forefront of the Chinese motorcycle revolution in the UK.

The background of the manufacturer CFMOTO includes a deal with motorcycle manufacturing giant KTM, which sees the CFMOTO factory building KTM’s smaller capacity KTM motorcycles for the largest motorcycle market in the world, China. The new Euro 4 road version WK Bikes CFMOTO machine, the WK650i and WK650MT, will be available later this year at value prices.

Commenting on the season ahead, team boss Mike Hinkley is enthusiastic about the team’s chances for success:

“We’re hoping that a podium finish is well within our grasp for 2017. We had an excellent result at the TT in 2016, and with the new technology available to us from the new WK650i and WK650MT, we’re producing technically different and more advanced developments on our new lightweight bikes.”

Gary Johnson added:

"I’m back again with the team at WK Bikes and considering all the exciting developments of the new generation WK650 bike, I can’t wait to see what it’s like on the track. I’ve ridden the last version for 3 years now and with all the hard work the WK team have put into developing the new generation WK650, I’m optimistic that we can better last year’s result and I’ll know more when we get testing on track in the next few weeks.”
