Finally booked but not brilliant sailings. Friday 1st 0215 -Thursday 7th 0845. No Senior for the 4th year running, the next ferry after the Senior is Tuesday!!! Although we are in a van. Stay safe everyone.

Just back from Liverpool, and all booked.
Waited in line there for 1.5hrs, constantly pressing the redial button to Douglas ( 424 times on the phone log!)whist I was waiting, website crashing on my tablet constantly.
And breath....

So, there's nothing left over the weekend? May as well give up on the whole thing. I'm a photojournalist & need to be there for the whole event. Staying that long after it finishes isn't an option with the day job, which is why I'm missing it this year. They need another boat...

edit: I'm now in the queue - 24 minutes 11 seconds to go...

Hooray, finally I got through at 10.35 and was on hold until 11.00 but managed to book car and two bikes on same sailings from Liverpool, out Friday 1st 03.45 and back Fri 8th 23.45 (option to come back Sunday evening). Hope I can change the times when the confirmation comes through otherwise we will cope with what we have got, at least we are going again. Just got to find a self catering homestay now.

Hang in there, it happened to me and finally got booked

After 3.5 hours I'm finally on. Friday 25th out - Sunday 10th PM back. Huge thanks to the girl on the phone who moved some stuff about to get me on that return boat. I need a lie down now.

Couldn't get the crossings I needed to allow me to get the car across, only ones open are the early morning/late evening one so just booked as foot passenger and look to hire a car next year. Still better than nothing I suppose.

I was in the same situation as you JAT, with the phone constantly engaged & the website rejecting my constant booking-button clicks. I managed to get through online after some 2 1/4 hours: & just as I was about to proceed to payment, the return journey option I'd selected disappeared! Anyway, I got sorted for a boat out on (Mad) Sunday & a return on the post race week Monday morning. At least I'll be able to chill-out for a day or two after the racing's finished - & I'd have taken that before the madness of this morning. What a carry on.
