Update on DJ lap TT2004
Things have again moved forward with the memorial lap planned on Mad Sunday.

I am still amazed at how many people have shown interest and support in this lap that started off with me and a couple of mates. I really hope we can raise as much money as possible for Dave's Memorial Fund.

The fund will benefit the ACU Benevolent Fund for Riders, marshals if fact anyone, or their families, associated with the sport who has fallen on hard times and a charity for Children know as Tommy's which is for looking after premature birth babies.

What better reason to have a lap on mad sunday and remember a true legend at the peak of his sport but taken from us so suddenly.

The support so far has come from the following people:

Tony Jefferies, Nick Jefferies, John McGuinness, Ian Lougher, Maria Costello, Michael Rutter, TAS Suzuki Team, Jack Valentine & ValMoto, David Cretney, Richard Britton, Martin Finnegan, Richard 'Milky Bar' Quayle, Ryan Farquhar, Nigel Beattie, Chris Palmer, Chris Heath, Gary Carswell, Paul 'Big H' Hunt but to name just a few.

I would like to thank everyone for there support so far. I think things will slow down now until nearer the TT when hopefully we will get the
same support.

A T-Shirt will be available very shortly that has been designed by Dave's Dad Tony and all proceeds will go to Dave's Memorial Fund.
Details will be posted at:

Thanks, hope I've not waffled to much.

Oh forgot to say, John McGuinnes has agreed to lead the lap with Adrian Archibald, John will be on DJ's R1 from 1999 and Adrian will be on a TAS Suzuki, if all goes to plan.

Great work, Richard. I'm very impressed by your website too, especially the webcam, which looks as if it might be the famed view from Bill Snelling's bedroom window!

Not live on this line, Larry! I think my view is a longer range one, I escorted Don round to confirm it last year. No sign of Snaefell tonight, blowing a hooley and raining earlier.

I refuse to comment on the grounds I might incriminate myself!
