The Hon Member for Onchan (Mr Earnshaw) to ask the Minister for Tourism and Leisure -

With regard to the recently announced TT arrangements for 2004, in view of the disappointment expressed by many competitors and others regarding the reduction in distance for the two main races from six laps to four, would you -

(a) provide full reasoning behind the decision to take this action; and

(b) review the decision and reinstate both races to six laps?
