This morning, I became aware of the fact that one of our well know sometimes user of the Forum, Ian (TT Fan) Huntly had a Stroke on his return from TT 2019.
This on top of having lost his wife Carole in the very recent past, has made this a very sad and difficult year for Ian and Simon (his son).
Personally, I wish Ian all the very best for a speedy and 100% recovery, and I am sure that Simon will do everything possible to ensure that Ian is extremely well cared for at this time.
I am sure that all who know Ian from his time on the Island during every TT since he was a young lad, will want to wish him all the very best for his recovery.
An Update yesterday from Ians Facebook Page, from Simon.
Quote:Just giving an update.
Dad is feeling a bit better. He has had a shower today which he was very looking forward to. I think he is waiting to do some physio. He was pleased that he had Jump by Van Halen played as a dedication before I left the hospital last night.
He has taken a liking to all things lentil especially lentil burgers but he says he is not enjoying the aftermath !!
Glad that you seem to be on the mend, Ian.
After hearing your name mentioned on the radio at this years TT I was explaining to a friend who you were & how you had made a TT game! http://www.ianhuntly.co.uk/2006gb.htm
Great stuff!
All the best to you Ian.
I thought I would give an update on Dad although he is doing that himself. He is able to shave himself, now on solid food and bored a bit.
His arm is coming back to life slowly. He is making good progress. He is thankful he is off the lentils !!
I thought I would give an update on Dad. He is making good progress. they are working him very hard. he has a lot of movement back in his hand and arm. He is reading a Charlie Williams book which is helping-full of nostalgia for him. All going in the right direction
