Remembering DJ, 29th May 2003
Please spare a moment today to remember David Jefferies. Can it really have been 20 years ago?

Never forget that Thursday.
I had a text message just saying 'DJ gone' from a friend on the Island before it had been announced.
I still say hello as I go past Crosby.

Thank you one and all for remembering D.J. on this day. Still difficult to take in the enormity of the moment when I received the news.
The amazing thing is that my Nephew is still so fondly remembered.........he certainly left his mark on the world of motorcycle racing, and in particular the TT.

How can it be 20 years ago! I was on a night shift when I heard the terrible news. RIP DJ.

Never seen any other rider through the top of Barregarrow with such style, pace and outright but controlled drifting banzai as DJ
