I have just read that Paul Bird has passed away at the age of 56 no age very sad indeed RIP Paul

did say at bsb he was not well but still a shock
just spoke to someone who knows him well apparently he was in our local hospital
like him or not
he was a big part of motorsport and ran some real good teams
i hope his son frankie keeps going as he looks a real talent in a rally car or single seater

he was good motocross rider years ago
ive a clip off him at olivers mount racing a crf (i think) against road bikes very impressive

Shocking news. Like him or not, he put his money where his mouth was. A huge loss to motorcycle racing.
