Now just gotta prep the bike and the motorhome for this year's trip!!!!

Indeed, at 07.00hrs I couldn't get on the site, it was full! I was in some kind of virtual waiting room!
Then at 08.00 I got on but it said there were no sailings back on 8th June 2025!
When I changed to the day before  & then back to the 8th june it came up with a full day of sailings!!!
So, we're booked on the same boats again next year.

I must say I've never had a problem before, but I've always used my desktop with 5 or so browsers open, refreshing each one continuously!

EDIT- just tried again now, 08.32hrs, got straight on to the bookings, all outgoing sailings available, nearly all return boats available! (2 out of 3) very strange! 

As i have said in an earlier thread, I'm not taking a bike next year. But I'll book a foot crossing, but not today.

I'm usually 4 hours on the phone constant redial etc.

I don't miss that.

I'm not playing the game either this year. My homestay is closing next year so I'm not going to book until I know I've got somewhere to stay. This might be my last TT...

Booked by 9:30 that's got to be a record for me!

So... Normally its a bank holiday the day they release the bookings.
I gave up a few years back trying to get through on the phone or on line and started to go down to the Pier Head Liverpool to book direct. The only issue is the que is normally quite long, going out of the office and half way up the link span.
My plan was to get there at 8.30, but got side tracked and didn't get there till 9.15. When I did get there I though it was shut as there was no one queuing outside. Opened the door and there was only 6 people in front of me.
Very Very odd.

Just checked the website out of curiosity, and it is showing a 3hr 13min wait

well, I've just got off the phone. No queue, no waiting, straight through, the furore has died down.

Different scenario for me next year....

I'm taking a bike and going across for the pre TT classics at billown and first afternoon of TT practice. Then back home Tuesday morning.

Then, a couple of us are back out as footy's for the last few days of race, if all well, will see Friday's and Saturdays racing to end the week.

That gives me a reduced TT visit and the window to have the extended manx visit, as I planned and as i said in another thread.

I'm going to be controversial. Not intending visiting the TT next year as swapping it for a couple of weeks in France following the Tour de France in the camper. Been on the bucket list for a while. Of course it doesn't preclude a sneaky short trip to the TT or the Manx should I not be contracting at the time.
