Lee has just announced he will only be competing in BSB Supersport next year on a Triumph. His new team do not want to compete in any road events.

That's a shame, I'm sure he'll miss it, & us miss him!

It will be a huge loss to both the TT and CTT not to have the exceptionally talented Lee Johnston on the grid for all the 2025 Mountain Course solo races. However it will also be a huge gain to the events’ broadcasters to have him in the commentary box as, in my opinion, he is one of the most qualified, informed and relevant commentators/pundits the TT Course has had for some time.
