I wondered why there were so many bikes round the course on Sunday - about a 100 were fitted with transponders to check that the system is working (better than TT 2003, that is). Paul Moore was saying it was 'nearly right, they have four weeks to GET it right. And no swapping transponders between bikes, I heard there was panic last year when one showed up as a sidecar out in a solo practice!
If it all works, the results books for the TT and MGP will have the spilt-lap-times in this year.

Now I know how Larry gets such good lap times, he uses someone else's transponder.
