All in a good cause...

In aid of the Lions Club (for Manx Children in need)... This Bank Holiday Monday (5th) at Port St Mary Golf Club there is a family fun day with all sorts of things hapnin'. There will be target golf where you hit nine test tickles and try to get them in to kiddies paddling pools - we may leave some kiddies in them, just to spice things up a bit ;0) It is hoped there'll be a car boot sale, stalls and stuff too...

PLUS - and here's the draw - weather permitting, there will be tethered HOT AIR BALLOON rides, giving views over Port St Mary... this has to be an opportunity not to be missed.

It all kicks off at around 10 a.m. and should run until around 4 p.m. It is hoped that the balloon will be flying (up and down, up and down) for about two hours, entirely dependant on the weather. To take a flight - estimated to be about 5 minutes - will require a 'donation' of not less than a fiver per person.
