2015 TT ferry prices
Just received an email with the prices for next year's ferry crossing. There doesn't seem to be much of an increase on the last couple of years.
A van and three passengers for race week £578:00. With the bikes in the back along with (comfortable) camping gear it makes sense using the van rather than separate bike tickets.

RE: 2015 TT ferry prices
That's a big increase!
For 2013 the van and three passengers was about £530 IIRC, so the increase two years on isn't much. I wonder why vans have gone up less than cars? Bike and rider is what now, £250 ish? So for us it's about £250 cheaper using the van and a damn site more comfortable when we get there due to the bigger tent, barbecue etc. we can carry in the van.

RE: 2015 TT ferry prices
Hi
New to this site but I have managed to reserve my ferry tickets for 2016 race week, paid holding deposit. Can anyone advise as to what sort of pricing I can expect. Car and two passengers.
Campsite booked and paid . Cant wait.

Agreed yamanx as a ballpark figure. The fares are regulated and published in advance. The bit they don't tell you is what discounting they apply to each sailing. This is a similar business model to other travel operators. There's a maximum standard fare and when things are looking slack, they offer limited discounts to try and entice people.
The 2015 maxima are here http://www.steam-packet.com/assets/pdfs/...cea14c2bbe
The most expensive prices are in the pink column and as you can see, a car plus 2 comes in at £233 each way. 2016 fares are yet to be published however the government regulate the increases and with inflation being so low and the falling oil price, I wouldn't envisage a big hike.
