NGRRC introduce ACU National 125GP two-stroke class
[Image: yamtz125.jpg]

Following the Hel British Motostar series’ completed switch to four-stroke only bikes, NGRRC will now run a 125GP class with full National Championship honours.

NGRRC are offering riders of 125GP bikes a serious championship to race in, as well as the chance to become the first ACU National 125GP champion and collect their trophy at the prestigious ACU awards ceremony alongside bike racing’s big-name winners.

The opening rounds will be at Donington Park on May 7-8, and will be run across a further eight rounds, taking in historic circuits like Oulton Park, Castle Combe and Thruxton.

Sharing a grid with the club’s highly successful 250GP National Championship, the 125 championship riders will contest races over a national-length race distance (25 miles), as well as benefiting from structured warm-up and qualifying sessions, and a proper podium celebration.

To help keep costs to a minimum, riders will be free to choose their own tyres and fuel, plus organisers have several potential sponsors lined up to cover end-of-year championship awards.

All interested riders should contact series organiser Steve Bostock on 07967 681639/01452 304804 or email sbostock@ngroadracing.org.
