It's reported in today's Manx Independent that Rachel Pither, wife of 3-times MGP winner and top classic racer Dave Pither, has died at the age of just 39 after apparently suffering a blood clot.

I am so sorry to hear that. It is not so many years since Dave married, and my thoughts are with him and their friends and family.

My thoughts are also with Dave' family & friends.
