Please read below for details of Billy Redmayne's funeral.

The date of the funeral is Friday the 13th of May. We will be starting the day with a lap of the Isle of Man TT course with Billy in his beloved old ambulance and we will be leaving the grandstand at 12pm. Anybody who wishes to follow on a motorbike is welcome to do so, and cars can follow behind the bikes for people that would like to do the lap but don't have a bike. People are also welcome to stand at the side of the road.

Billy will then be taken to Douglas Borough Cemetery and Crematorium where he will be having a military funeral. The service starts at 2pm. As the crematorium is small, we ask that people allow his family and close friends to be inside, there is an overflow room and we are also trying to get some speakers for outside.

Following the service, Billy's 'party' will be held at the Villa Marina, in the colonnade suite and the promenade suite. Family, friends, work colleagues and racing colleagues are welcome to join us.

There is no dress code, please wear what you feel comfortable wearing.

Myself and Billy's family would ask that rather than people buy flowers, you make a donation. We will be setting up a bank account in the name of Billy Redmayne's Memorial fund and we ask that donations are sent there whilst we are setting the charity up (it takes a lot longer than first anticipated, details will follow) The money from this fund will then be helping various other charities and people who are in need.
