I read an article in a recent Classic Racer about former GP racer Bernard Fau and his thwarted plan to compete in the Classic TT. The article suggested that there is now an upper age limit of 40 for newcomers to the Classic TT and MGP. I've had a quick look at the regs for the event and couldn't find this clause. Have I missed something and is it the case that there now is an upper age limit of 40 for newcomers to both events?
I think it applies to the TT too, but I do wonder what would happen if someone like Rossi expressed an interest, it's no doubt flexible depending on who you are, a bit like the mountain course licence.
