Just wondering what is the road like leading from tynwald Mill to the viewing point at laurel bank is it fit for cars only I see cars on top of the bank and I've always wanted to watch it from there.
No problem getting to the Road of the shallow Ford above Laurel Bank, but the footpath, where the road goes sharp left, is quite steep down to the marshalling point. It does mean you can get out during roads closed.
The property on the left immediately past the marshalling point normally allows viewing, accessing around the rear of the house, but you are stuck there for the duration.
Marvellous place to spectate if you like watching the bikes through bends.
