Posted at 19:22 - Hickman makes it a magnificent seven

The 2019 Ulster Grand Prix belongs to Peter Hickman as he extends his record number of wins at a meeting to seven.

In another dominant display the 32-year-old from Lincolnshire won the final Superbike race with ease.

Hickman is followed in by Dean Harrison with Conor Cummins completing the podium.

Peter Hickman is now on the grid for the final race of the 2019 meetings.

He's sitting on six wins already and who would bet against him coming out tops in the Superbike finale.


18:27 - Hickman breaks UGP wins record at a meeting

Peter Hickman has set a new record of six victories at an Ulster GP meeting after a titantic battle with Lee Johnston in the final Supersport race.

The lead changed hands a number of times but the Englishman held off Johnston on the last lap to win by no more than a wheel.

Conor Cummins came third after edging out Davey Todd.


18:00 - Third and final Supersport race

Peter Hickman has won the opening two Supersport race and he is hot favorite to make it a treble and set a new Ulster Grand Prix record of six victories in a single meeting.

The bikes are on the grid for the penultimate race of UGP 2019.

A belter of a race sees Christian Elkin edge out Joe Loughlin in a thrilling duel. The two went wheel to wheel over the final three laps and Elkin just about secured the win.

Lee Johnston completed the podium in the best race of the 2019 meeting.

16:49 - Imperious Hickman equals record

He's done it! Peter Hickman has joined Philip McCallen on a record five wins at an Ulster Grand Prix meeting.

Hickman moved in front on lap one of Saturday's first Superbike race before making it another procession at Dundrod.

There's a big gap to Dean Harrison, who holds off the challenge of Conor Cummins in third.

The top six is completed by Lee Johnston, Davey Todd and Derek Sheils.

15:47 - Superbikes called to grid

The big bikes are making their way to the holding area after the Lightweight/Ultra-Lightweight race was red-flagged after one lap was completed.

We are waiting for clarification on whether that race was deemed a result or abandoned - Neil Kernohan was leading.

Some news ahead of the opening Superbike race - Michael Dunlop, who missed Thursday's racing because of a wrist injury, has pulled out.

The Lightweight/Ultra-Lightweight race has been halted on lap two - hopefully it's nothing too serious but we'll keep you updated.

That's win number 10 at the UGP for Peter Hickman as the follows up his Superstock victory with Supersport success.
Fermanagh's Lee Johnston takes second spot while Davey Todd edges out team-mate Conor Cummins for third.

Davey Todd zips into the lead with Peter Hickman second and Lee Johnston in third.
Dean Harrison and David Johnson were among the non-starters.

Rain is falling on the course again so there will be a wait for today's opening Supersport race.

Another dominant display from Peter Hickman as he wins the Superstock race with plenty to spare.
The Lincolnshire man set a new lap record along with two victories on Thursday and he continues to be a class apart.
Davey Todd finishes second to secure his first UGP podium while Connor Cummins completes the top three.


13:08 - They're OFF!

After a two-hour plus delay the action starts with a clean start in the Superstock race.
Peter Hickman is the early leader.

Superstock riders are out on their two practice laps, then we'll have a warm-up lap before a six-lap race.

Hopes of a 11:30 BST start have been dashed - or more accurately washed away!

It's teeming down at Dundrod thanks to a heavy shower so we're back to the waiting game.

Very frustrating but typical weather for these parts I suppose.
