Does anyone know if there are any additional drone flying regulations outside of practice/race times? I'd like to get some footage of the island and where we are staying.
That's perfect, many thanks. I have a drone app that identifies restricted airspace such as around airfields so it is the racing part that matters. I wouldn't be flying then anyway as I'll be mainly wearing orange. Last year we had a drone appear close to the bungalow whilst the racing was on. When it landed an Irish chap 'returned it to its component parts'.
