TT fery passenger numbers up but motorcycle numbers are down
Read how many are expected this year in this fascinating story from the BBC,
apparently it's the third year in a row that figures have surpassed the record from 2007 of 47,000,
even thought they expect 40,000? Confused
(unless I'm reading it wrong, of course, which is entirely possible 'cos I'm trying to get everything sorted & packed on the bike,
ready for sailing tomorrow morning!  Party2 Party2 )

RE: TT fery passenger numbers up but motorcycle numbers are down
It said on manx radio that the sea passengers are up 4.5% but number of bikes are down. Still seems quiet in Douglas. The thirsty pigeon was closed at 9pm Tuesday night.
Hillbury wasn't very busy last night.
I was sat next to the wall just over the little river when Dunlop missed it by inches.
Heading of to the Queens for a couple tonight.

I were over on a bike at the start of practice week and it were quiet. Pre TT classics went well on Sunday, one shower but it didn't spoil the day.

I'm back at the middle of race week for a few days on foot, fingers crossed there's some racing to be seen.

Enjoy capt and all.

Thanks H2, got up about 04:30, giddy as a kipper, to find Mannannanannan's 3 1/2 hours late!!!
Deep joy!
Of course they still want people to turn up at the same time,a little annoying when you only live a mile away from the port!!!!
I suppose it's understandable, because it now means both boats will be in Heysham at the same time, trying to load up!!! Confused

Ferry delayed? I don't think this'll be the first delay experienced this week.

Looks a troublesome week with the weather.

It's a bitter pill, weather's been great for two months and breaks right at the start of TT 2025
