Good Lord what year was this....that's me standing in front of the bus with the red front bit....I remember it well !!

I don't usually stick myself in front of the camera, now much to my dismay that I didn't after all these years I've been attending and I have no visible proof..

I can be seen walking behind an interview between Roger Marshall and Chris Carter a good few years ago, and at the start when Shaun Harris rode the Britten. Welcoming Nick Jefferies when he won his race, and also refuelling Doug Randall nearly 30 years ago !!

In the 50s my parents and I were part of the Norton signalling team the year Geoff just missed the ton lap (1955) and the BBC telecrew took miles of film of all of us doing a hot sweaty job on Ramsey Hairpin.
"You'll see yourselves on TV tonight" sez the "TV Producer"

We scoffed our evening meal to get good seats in the hotel lounge and the days racing was shown, but was foreshortened by some problem in parliament (UK) so we never saw our hard work !!

I am glad to have some pics of myself with the "stars" and had them autographed but they were for my own precious collection.

I find it an abuse of the position of photographer-with-a-pass when we see them who should know better making sure they are in as many as possible various vids and photos.

However in 2008, my 61st year as a TTFan, I hope I might see myself on the TT Video....please ??

Shy and retiring, Ian is not. Zoom in and give him maximum exposure.
