Greetings
The second annual TT photo exhibition will be held at the Laxey Woollen Mills from May 23 to June 13. Free admission, but a contribution to the MGP Helicopter Fund will be most welcome. Last year we raised over £1,400 for the fund, we aim to double that this year!
TT2009 programmes will be on sale.
On May 23, we will be displaying the Senior TT trophy, first won by Rem Fowler in 1907 and there will be an autojumble in the car park. No fee, just turn up, set up and flog up!
Roger Willis will be launching and signing his new book
The Nazi TT – Hitler’s 1939 propaganda victory on the Isle of Man on that day. Much has been written about the Auto Union and Mercedes Benz domination of motor racing in the years leading to WWII, Roger has researched the story of their two-wheeled domination leading to George Meier's 1938 500 European Championship win.
Please note: the gallery is on first floor - disabled access is restricted, but there is an easier set of steps up to the gallery from the car park.
On Laxey Day, May 11, we hope to have Tom Sheard's 1923 Senior TT-winning Douglas on display and will be showing the 1923 TT film.
