Well an MHK on the IOM has been sacked this week from the DTL for spilling the beans about a job for the Boys. Motor Sport Management have appointed an ex Female police officer, one who's just retired on a full pension. Now this New member of the Motor sport team has been appointed without the job being advertised and on a salary of £50k pa. This has to be the all time PiZZZZZZ Taken by the DTL.
By the way her Job is to police motor sports on the Island, something that is already done by the police and the ACU.
Set my mind, and my imagination, at rest, George.
Are we saying ex-police officer, or ex-female?
Any photos about??
As to the actual appointment, you do live in a banana republic, you know.

RE: Taking the PiZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Far from reporting half a story Manx Radio has had one on the bulletins from Graham's point of view. It's on the website now too.
He was also on Mandate this morning explaining why he'd gone. It seems he and Juan Turner - among other things - criticised the DTL's decision to appoint retired copper Carolyn Kinrade to a £50,000-a-year post in the DTL, without advertising the position.
Apparently you're not allowed to "undermine department policy" (to quote Martyn Quayle).
If shes being paid £50k pa for just a few weeks work per year it leaves one wondering just how much the rest of the senior managment of sport are being paid.
Manx Radio have now removed the story from the website, however have uploaded a related story:- http://www.manxradio.com/newsread.aspx?id=41459
At a time when TT riders are being told that they wont be getting any financial assistance next year, who's taking the PiZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Energy fm are still running the story: http://www.energyfm.net/cms/news_story_82731.html
