Wednesday’s Race Schedule at the Isle of Man TT Races postponed due to bad weather and moves to Thursday
The Wednesday race schedule at the 2010 Isle of Man TT has been postponed due to poor weather.
The scheduled 10.45am start to the second Monster Energy Supersport race was delayed due to low-lying cloud, and then further delayed due to rain on parts of the course. Just before 2pm it was confirmed there would be no racing today.
The roads had closed at 1pm, and started re-opening shortly after the confirmation racing was off for the day.
The cancellation meant not only that the Monster Energy Supersport 2 TT couldn’t go ahead, but also that the second Sure Sidecar race and the TT Zero race for electric bikes were postponed as well.
The full calendar of racing will now move to Thursday 10th June. The revised schedule (GMT) is as follows:
12.15: Monster Energy Supersport 2 Race
14.45: Dainese Senior TT Practice
16.00: TT Zero Electric bike Race
18.30: Sure Mobile Sidecar 2 Race
Revised Again
The TT Race Organisation has issued a further revision to the Thursday Races schedule of practices and races that were originally due to take place on Wednesday. The revised changes have been introduced to further minimize disruption for residents and will reduce the time that Marshals are required on duty.

11.00: Roads close on the mountain
11.30: Roads close on the rest of the course
12.15: One lap Dainese Senior TT Practice
13.00: Sure Sidecar 2 Race
15.00: Monster Energy Supersport 2 Race
