Urgent appeal for Manx Grand Prix marshals

An urgent appeal has been issued for anyone who can assist with marshalling during the 2010 Manx Grand Prix to come forward.

The first practice session of the MGP was held on Saturday, and practice is due to continue each evening this week, subject to weather conditions.

The Isle of Man TT Marshals Association has appealed for more marshals to come on board and register to get involved at the MGP.

A minimum number of 508 marshals are required around the course for each practice or race session to ensure a complete line of sight, and more are required so that all of the stations are covered with the necessary number of people.

Terry Holmes, IoMTTMA Chairman said:

"We achieved a full quota of people for Saturday's practice and want to build on that to make sure that all of the practices and races can start as scheduled."
Be right back. I am going to go find myself, and if I leave before I get back, make sure to tell me !! -
