Exclusive VIP hospitality tickets still available for all four race days

Oxfordshire based Smith, who was Moto GP Rookie of the year in 2006, lies second overall in the championship after three races, has confirmed that he will visit the Isle of Man with his father Allan for the Dainese Superbike race on Saturday 6th June. Bradley will also present the prizes at the end of the race. He commented:

“I’ve always been aware of the TT races from an early age and my dad has frequently talked about the island’s heritage so I’m really looking forward to watching the event live. I have a huge amount of respect for the road racers and what they do.”

Legendary Motorsport commentator Murray Walker OBE, who’s father Graham competed many times in the TT including his 1931 Lightweight victory, will also be attending this year’s Pokerstars Senior Race and will be starting the race and presenting the awards at the prize presentation afterwards. Murray, who first commentated on the TT for the BBC in 1949, famously said last year that he felt that the TT was “the greatest motorsport event in the world”. He also curated the Getty Images Exhibition “100 years on the roads” on the TT’s Centenary.

The Department of Tourism and Leisure have confirmed that there are still some hospitality tickets available to purchase for the TT VIP club which will be visited by Bradley Smith, Murray Walker OBE and eight-time Moto GP Champion Valentino Rossi during race week. These tickets will give exclusive access to the races and behind the scenes action. The packages, which cost £218 plus VAT per guest, offers all day access to the Hospitality Suite as well as reserved grandstand seating, access to the TT paddock, exclusive rider appearances, breakfast, lunch, all day refreshments and a gift pack containing official merchandise.

Hon Martyn Quayle, MHK, Minister for Tourism and Leisure, Isle of Man Government, commented:

“I’m delighted to welcome these two great names to the TT races this year. Bradley Smith continues to make his name, whilst Murray Walker is synonymous with Motorsport and it’s really fantastic to be able to welcome him back to the Island.”
