McBride has fully recovered from his horrific crash during last year’s Isle of Man TT practice session and is keen to get back to his much loved road racing.
He has already taken part in some club racing to get bike fit and up to speed again. The North West 200 has seen bikes reach 200mph on the long, down hill straight into Metropole corner and this is something McBride needs to get back into when he ventures out in first practice, which takes place on the evening of Tuesday 12th May.
Qualifying takes place on Thursday 14th May and race day is Saturday 16th May. The event is covered by the BBC and all the qualifying and race action can be watched lived on line at www.bbc.co.uk/northernireland/nw200/.
James said: “I’m really pleased to be running under the Pazzo Racing banner again on my two 2008 Yamaha’s. I’ve got a really good crew behind me and I’m hoping I can pick up where I left off. I’d like to thank my sponsors for standing by me since my crash and I want to reward them with some solid results this year. I love the North West and I can’t wait to get back out there.”
James would like to thank Pazzo, Speedycom, Ape Accessories, Rock Oil, Spidi, Shoei, Colin Dickson, Baz, Forcefield, R&G Racing, Talon, NGK and Paint FX.
