British Superbikes and new Historic Racing Festival headline busy calendar

The Louth circuit's 2011 line-up features an impressive programme of historic racing events, showcasing two and four wheel machinery from the past eight decades.

Kick-starting the season on Easter Sunday and Monday will be a new Historic Racing Festival courtesy of the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC), which includes track action from classic sports cars and saloons dating from the 1950s.

Cadwell Park will also celebrate even older vehicles with two vintage motorcycle meetings and the annual Vintage Sports Car Festival. These three events will see some of motorsport's oldest working machinery driven in anger around the undulating 2.2-mile track, such as pre-war sports cars and 1930s bikes.

Motorcycle fans can enjoy a two wheel adrenaline fix when the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship makes its annual pilgrimage to Lincolnshire for the 'party in the park' over August Bank Holiday weekend. This unmissable event is known for attracting impressive crowds, many of whom flock to Louth to witness the unique sight of riders becoming airborne as they tackle Cadwell Park's infamous Mountain corner.

Other calendar highlights include the annual British Superkart Grand Prix - one of only three Grands Prix to take place in the UK - and the Modified Live performance car festival, both of which will take place in July.

"With 2010 being the busiest year at Cadwell Park for many years, 2011 will be yet another great season of motorsport set right in the heart of Lincolnshire," said circuit manager Jon Rush. "From British Superbikes to Modified Live and the British Superkart Grand Prix, plus our new Historic Racing Festival, there's something for everyone and we can't wait to get started!"

Tickets for 2011 major events are now on sale, whilst you can make significant savings by purchasing a season pass for just £125. Cadwell Park season passes include entry to all two and four wheel events in 2011, as well as entry to all race meetings at Snetterton.
