Wednesday June 1st
Bad weather resulted in the cancellation of Wednesday night’s TT practice session in the Isle of Man. A combination of rain, and thick mist on the mountain section of the course, forced the decision.
Next scheduled practice session is tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) with roads due to close at 1.45pm.
Meanwhile, three of the four competitors who were involved in an incident at Sarah’s Cottage during Tuesday night’s practice session have now been released from Noble’s Hospital. Passengers Mark Cox and Philip Roberts suffered knee injuries and a cut elbow respectively, while driver Nigel Connole was treated for bruising.
The other sidecar driver involved – Gary Horspole – was taken to hospital suffering from spinal injuries. His condition is described as ‘serious but stable.’
