The following Press Release has been issued by Martin Bullock Racing :

Martin Bullock Race Team (MBR) are delighted to be renewing their association with female road racer Anita Buxton after a successful 2004 season with the team, where she became the first ever woman to win a major British Road Race, when she took the 400cc class honours at the Ulster Grand Prix.

Anita will be MBR’s sole entrant at the International North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix Road Races contesting the 400cc and 1000cc races. She will join up with the rest of the squad (details of which are still to be announced) for the Isle of Man TT in June where she will contest the Superbike and Superstock classes on a 1000cc Suzuki, as well as taking in the two Supersport races on a CBR 600cc RR Honda, supplied through Kev Spurr of SS Tuning from Nottingham. This deal sees a continuation of the partnership between MBR and SS Tuning which begun during 2004 when they jointly ran another female racer, Carolynn Sells at the Manx Grand Prix.

MBR have also launched a range of clothing for Anita this year to compliment the existing range of team wear and Tommy Clucas tribute clothing. This stylish range of clothing will be available via the team’s brand new web site, which has recently been launched at www.mbr.co.tt. You can follow Anita and the rest of the MBR team’s progress throughout 2005 season through the site.
