Many thanks to all of you who supported the recent get together in Shrewsbury. For my money the star of the show was Guy Martin, who over several pots of tea described to the 300+ guests his love of vintage steam engines, the reasons why he will never miss another Macau Grand Prix and why Fred Dibnah is his all time number one hero!
Prize for the person who travelled furthest must go to Reiner Trockel who had made the journey from Duesseldorf, Germany. The total amount of money raised on the evening to be handed to the Richard Britton fund is likely to be in the region of £5,000.
