The Isle of Man Post Office is already revving up for TT2007 - the biggest-ever celebration to mark the centenary of the world famous motor sports event.

In association with Duke and Lily Publications the Philatelic Bureau is launching its TT2007 Centenary Collection - a unique collection of merchandise produced as a limited edition of 500 boxed sets and available to order now for dispatch in January 2007.

Isle of Man Post Office's Dot Tilbury said: 'The TT2007 Collection is a once-in-a-lifetime, never-to-be-repeated opportunity and this ultimate collection will be launched on 1st January 2007. Only 500 will be produced, the TT2007 Collection is bound to sell out very quickly - which is why we're offering customers the chance to place their orders now, to avoid disappointment.

The TT 2007 Centenary Collection contains:

Celebrity signed TT2007 centenary stamps first day cover
Set of TT2007 centenary postcards
Set of Isle of Man Treasury TT2007 centenary coins
Numbered special print signed
Duke's nostalgic CD and DVD of TT commentaries and moments
Specially bound book history of the TT - TT100
TT2007 centenary presentation folder of the stamps

All the items will have matching numbers and a certificate of authenticity.

The collection is only the start of the celebrations - in conjunction with Duke and Lily Publications there will be a First Day Cover and a Presentation Pack as well as other commemorative products, some of which will also be produced in limited editions, plus TT100 - the centenary TT2007 book full of fascinating facts, pictures and anecdotes - written by respected motoring journalist Mick Duckworth, with a foreword by Murray Walker.

The book marks a first for Isle of Man Post in that it contains 10 stamps perforated into the pages - five stamps of UK value and five of European value. It is, quite simply, the one book every TT fan should have.' LA60 25.00

'TT2007 is such an exciting celebration that we'll be opening the Post Office on January 1st 2007 for people to purchase the TT 2007 stamp issue. It's fair to say that in terms of commemorating the TT Centenary, the Isle of Man Post Office is going global.'

The TT2007 Centenary Collection is available to order now from the Philatelic Bureau, LA06 priced 249. (A deposit of 25 will secure the order and credit cards will be debited for the balance within one month of dispatch date in the first week of 2007).
