Bulletin 3 - Update / Incident Report 1
The organisers of the TT Races, the
Auto Cycle Union, regret to announce that during yesterday evening's practice
(Monday) in an incident at White Gates, Ramsey, the passenger of outfit No. 46,
Stephen Wood, received injuries which proved to be fatal.
Stephen, aged
40, a systems operator by trade, from Forest Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne, leaves
a partner Jane Rhymes and three children.
The organisers extend their
deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
The driver John Macaskill
was uninjured.
