Bulletin 2 - Monday 29th May - am.

The weather for this mornings practice - Roads wet all around the Course with surface water in places and some mist on the Mountain - visibility down to 200 yards in places.

The first part of the session was for Newcomers, Lightweight, Ultra-Lightweight and Singles and Junior riders who had been given permission to practice out of Class.

First away were Junior riders 2 Nigel Davies and 14 Shaun Harris followed by 53 Junior Phil Kneen and 58 Lightweight Sandra Barnett, 23 Lightweight "Bud" Jackson, 17 Junior Gordon Blackley and 85 Keith Dixon. Jim Moodie and Uel Duncan were among the early starters on their 600's.

First back was Nigel Davies with a lap at 99.73mph, Adrian Archibald 98.53, Nigel Davies 95.11 and Gordon Blackley 93.48 - all on 600's - Darran Lindsay on his 125 lapped at 94.75mph.

The Sidecars started at 6.05 am and 1 Rob Fisher/Rick Long led the way from 5 Allan Schofield/Ian Simons, 9 Geoff Bell/Craig Hallam and 46 John Macaskill/Stephen Wood.

This morning at total of 90 Solos and 62 Sidecars were scrutineered. Incidents reported this morning - 16 Ultra-Lightweight Neil Richardson off at Parliament Square, 39 Junior Nigel Healey off at the Nook, 88 Lightweight Alan Chamley off at Braddan Bridge and Ultra-Lightweight Paul Williams off at Sarahs Cottage, all are OK.

No 34 Ultra-Lightweight Gary Vollans off at Parliament Square - taken to hospital by Air Med for assessment of injuries.
