Armoy coming up shortly.

Some controversy with MD. I heard him during his post race interviews at the S100 that he's not riding as they have no budget, it's been gobbled up by others.... Again... Apparently.

If that's the case, it's a poor show from the armoy club. In my opinion, he's propped up the event with his attendance in past years and they've missed a trick letting him slip through their fingers.

I've been to the armoy a couple of times but not for quite a few years now. It's a great event and a good course.

The Steve Gibbons Band - back by popular demand!

I'm thrilled to be able to tell you that after their visit to support THE ROB VINE FUND last year, I kept getting messages saying “please bring them back!” - AGAIN! Luckily for us all, the band were delighted to be asked back and will be here on Friday 23rd August at the Legion. I think they have a little soft spot for the Isle of Man!

Big thanks to Steve, John, Simon and Chris for coming back and supporting us again.

Also many, many thanks to the Isle of Man Steam Packet, FinLaw, Osborne Financial and the Manx Legion  for their continued support. It’s massively appreciated and really does make a difference. Thank you.

I've lately noted that there are several items on the net containing the same or similar videos. For example this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0j5Nb_jjGrs It's all fake. The video is AI or from a video game. It has nothing with the TT or Isle of Man to do. Some people believe that this is real. Bad for the TT races. Possible to stop? Anyone who has an idea to how to make YouTube to delete this s--t?

Southern 100 Practice has started manx radio am..

Well, the southern 100 kicks off next week.

Any of you folks going across?

I'm over for the last day (Thursday). I'm pedalling it, pedal to heysham,  Sail out Wednesday night / Thursday morning, watch the days racing, overnight in Douglas, sail back Friday morning and pedal home.

I had the same scenario planned for last year's event but we all know what happened there.

I'd rather pedal the miles but i do have a train booked in case of bad weather.

So far, Thursday looking like a decent day on the island.
