I got a notification on Facecloth this morning saying he's joined Cowton racing and will be doing the roads this year.

Not super experienced - hopefully he goes OK.  Certainly fast.

Admittedly we were lucky, up to the day before we sailed tents were blowing down in the storms, but then it clamed down & ended up the best week for a long time. 
It's not at the National Sports Centre this time tho', it's on Bray Hill.........but not in the road, thankfully!

I attended my first TT in 1957 as an eight-year-old. We had a coach tour of the circuit and I am sure I remember a broad painted line across the circuit in a few places. Their position and purpose were unknown, to the extent that I may have misremembered. However, while viewing a film of the 1950 Senior I noticed what appeared to be one of these lines at - I think - the Keppel Gate complex. Can anyone help?
